The Original Freedom Broad story - A Slave to a Nation

Postby dumbtime » January 6th, 2011, 3:00 pm

Fin did some fall cleaning in his galleries at HIPComix and gave me permission to post
the original story that him and I did to get Freedom Broad/American Amazon off and running.
I've collected the panel together and have posted them in my free gallery for all to see here at MCComix.

Hope you enjoy these.

That is a classic story, and certainly deserves to be seen by as many folk as possible. It's just such a diabolically Masterful trap. (No pun intended! ;) )

Though I was recently absolutely flabergasted to discover, (when browsing I think it was Mr X's site maybe?) that the plot seemed to originally be closely related to one of your WW text stories. Glad to see how it eventually got fleshed out with Fin's awesome art into a full blown comic book. As it was too genius a story idea to not get used in the MCcomix world! 8-)

Yeah, it's great to see where American Amazon got her start. This story remains a quick and easy intro to a great character and paved the way for a lot of fun that followed.

Hi there!

I agree with Trishbot, this tale is awesome because adapts the text history, I think I checked it once in SuperStories.net.

It is great to know it was adapted,
