Dumbtime's short sabbatical

Hello MCcomix fans,

I need to inform you peeps of my future for the summer. Where I work, it took two people working together to do the job that we did on a weekly basis. 3 weeks ago, they let my cohort go, stating that there were cutbacks in the department. The company is in the midst of a merger and it made sense to do that. Now, I do the work of 2 people on sensitive contracts. Its taking away from family time and now I steal from my private time to cover that end. Saying all that, I'm not going to be in the regular rotation of artist during the summer months.

Fret not, even if you weren't. I will continue to be working on things, especially the short story for MacroLass and hopefully be able to get back and running around August. I will have a few thing here and there posted on a few off days in order to work around the set schedule of the other artists.

Sincerely,

DT

Hi Dumbtime!

Don't worry man, you even could consider yourself lucky keeping your job! Real life it's that counts, after all.

And about your work, I for one will miss any new entry of "The trap", even now that Digitalus was to confront Freedom Girl secret identity, but asking you to do more work would be very petty.

So concentrate in your job and don't worry, that we your readers are waiting patiently for your come back.

Good luck!

Don't keep telling him things like that, he'll get a swelled head.

Well, even more swollen than it already is. <smirk>

You should start seeing me slow get back in the swing again soon.

The tentative plan is to get a freebie or two out in July for "What Makes a Hero."
And A full-fledged members update of "Brainwashed" in August.

So far, that is the only thing in the books. I should have a schedule of stuff out soon after me and MacroLass (and hopefully Knyght) work out more details.

I, for one, think that any head I get is swell
<Given the nature of this site, I am sure others thought of this line as well>
