Hello, everybody. In chapter three of New Guard: The Naughty Nurses Saga, the focus is on two characters: TB-01, the cybernetic member of the group of heroines with a mysterious past and formidable abilities, who sets out to deal with criminals as only she can.

The other part of this installment shows Mind Changer, diabolical mastermind of the plan to take down the vaunted New Guard, and his "unique" take on employee relations.

Action, humor, mind control..its all here and more. Members can check out the phenomenal art by MCtek at http://www.mccomix.com/members/gallery2 ... emId=19966

However, a battle with an unexpected opponent threatens to change her future activities if Mind Changer has anything to say in the matter.

Great issue. I found it a bit distracting having to go from hand-drawn work to 3D, but it's understandable. Don't want to get all jaded with the art and you gotta make time. Can't wait for the next issue.

Any chance of an update soon? This series has been a nice change of pace from Metrobay and it is always see new superheroines become enthralled.

Hi Nitpicker,

Thanks for the feedback. Things are a bit in flux at present but we're hoping for another installment in late April/early May. All the stuff you've seen to date and a few surprises lay ahead in this serial.

Hello, everybody. Today, chapter five of New Guard: The Naughy Nurses Saga debuts in the member's section. In this chapter, we see more of how the villainous Mind Changer took control of two of the New Guard heroines in an action packed clash. Plus, a heroine new to Rixo City takes her bow and wonders where the missing heroines have gone. Questions are asked and answered as the plot thickens. Enjoy this latest chapter of New Guard! Big kudos to the artist Tek, who put this phenomenal chapter together while feeling under the weather.

Hi there NorthernChill and Tek

I love your series! I like the nurse fetish, but to tell you the truth, I prefer maids! I think that the people who had the nurse fetish are people who hasn't being in a hospital for a long period of time... now that I think of it, I have never had a maid, so I think the fetish involves fantasy and not reality.

I loved the new characters: Justice Doll was awesome and Prisma looked fantastic in page 4 (Congratulations Tek!). It's a shame they are "converted" when we only have meet them for one page or two. My favorite is Barren Maiden, who "talks" in gothik letter (I remember seeing that with a Pogo newspaper strip).

I like the device of narrating all those things when we have already seen that all the heroines had been sucessfully converted, I think you will implement any trick to conserve the trhill of reading this.

Thank you

Hector.

Hi Hector,

Glad you've liked the series so far. I must admit, writing it in this manner was something I had a few doubts about when I first started drafting the script for this arc. The positive feedback received to date is welcome from all.

That said, let me add that we're nearing the halfway point of this ride and the heat is still building (as well as twists and turns). If everything goes according to plan, the next chapter should pop up in late June or so and look for more great stuff going forward.

Hello, everybody. Today, the next part of New Guard: The Naughty Nurses Saga debuts in the member's section here at MCcomix.

With a bevy of beautiful nurses looking to provide special care for patients, the spotlight falls on two new people to register for a stay. They both look to take full advantage of the services provided to them and in ways that seem oddly familiar. Even as this goes on, the neophyte heroine Prisma visits the hospital on an unrelated matter...or is it...?

Chapter six of this arc can be found in the member's section at http://www.mccomix.com/members/gallery2 ... emId=26829

Kudos once again to MCTek for the great art in this update!

Nageth, not sure which page you're referring to. Could you give a little more detail in what you see? Hope you enjoyed the update.

The artwork has gotten so much better recently that I wish that the early frames could be redone at some point to bring the whole series up to the same level. The only other improvement I could envision for this series is that the text font be a little bigger so that it would be easier to read.

Maybe it was a lighting issue since the alley was understandably poorly lit (comparing 5.19 vs 6.11 and 5.11 vs 6.10). That is assuming I got the name right (lots of new characters). Honestly, the only thing that left me scratching my head a bit (the growth spurt was more of a joke akin to the Metrobay characters) was how Prisma didn't pick up on Battle Maiden standing in front of her (since the group inspired her to fight crime). She was picking up on her identity a bit but it seemed on the level of "did I go to school with her?" Minor nit pick there, though. I like the new characters and hope we see more of them (nursified or not) in this and future stories (loved "Simon's" cameo). :)

PS: What happened to the comic relief couple from the second and third comic (besides leaving the city)?

Prisma's reaction might have been more demonstrative if she wasn't preoccupied by the fact she almost killed a bad guy she apprehended. If she was a detective first and foremost, she might have stuck around and asked more questions but she isn't and still learning the basics of figuring things out. We haven't seen the last of her though....count on it.

As for the couple seen early on in this story, they will return at some point. In what role, well, that remains to be seen...:)

Glad you enjoyed the update!
